1. Who we are
Alpine Healthcare Partners ("Alpine", "we", "us") is a consultancy based in Fribourg, Switzerland, providing Swiss market entry and commercial representation services to European MedTech and healthcare manufacturers. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Alpine is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. See our Impressum for full entity details.
2. What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you choose to provide it, or — for analytics — only with your consent:
- Contact form: name, company, email address, and the content of your message.
- Booking a Swiss Market Assessment: when you use our Calendly link, Calendly collects your name, email, and booking details under its own privacy policy. We receive this submitted information to conduct the meeting.
- Website analytics (Google Analytics 4): with your explicit consent, we use Google Analytics to collect anonymized performance metrics (such as IP address truncated/anonymized, browser type, pages visited, and time spent on site).
- Direct contact: any details you provide via direct email or telephone.
3. How we use your data
We use the data described above solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare for and conduct a scheduled consultation, and, where a client relationship follows, to deliver our services. Our legal basis is your consent (by submitting the form or booking a call) and, where applicable, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties, and we do not use your data for unrelated marketing without a separate opt-in.
4. Third-party processors
We rely on a small number of third-party services to operate: our scheduling tool (Calendly), our email provider, and Google Analytics. These providers process data on our behalf and may store data outside Switzerland or the EU/EEA (for example, in the United States). Where that is the case, such transfers rely on the safeguards those providers maintain under applicable law (such as standard contractual clauses). Data transferred between the EU/EEA and Switzerland benefits from the European Commission's adequacy decision for Switzerland. We choose providers that maintain appropriate data protection commitments.
5. Data retention
We retain enquiry and booking data for as long as needed to respond to you and, if a client relationship begins, for the duration of that relationship plus any period required by Swiss commercial or tax law. Data from enquiries that don't lead to a relationship is deleted within a reasonable period once no longer needed.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you are based, you have rights over your personal data:
- Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (nFADP/LPD): the right to access your data, request correction or deletion, object to processing, and request information about how your data is processed.
- Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), if you are located in the EU/EEA: the same rights as above, plus the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@alpinehealthcarepartners.ch. Swiss data subjects may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC); EU-based data subjects may contact their local supervisory authority.
